Breast AugmentationThe most common reason that women seek breast augmentation is because of dissatisfaction with the size of their breasts. The effects of pregnancy as well as natural asymmetry are additional motivations for seeking consultation for breast enhancement. With a breast augmentation, the volume as well as the shape of the breast can be addressed. Either silicone or saline implants may be used for your procedure. In addition, a variety of different incisions may be used for placement of the implants, and the implants themselves can be placed behind the breast gland or even deeper behind the chest muscle. Breast Reduction
In addition to neck, shoulder, and upper back pain, many women with breast enlargement suffer from the psychological repercussions of their body image. Prolonged debilitation from enlarged breasts can additionally result in spine and postural abnormalities. Rashes can develop beneath the breasts from the accumulation of moisture and difficulty with proper hygiene. Breast reduction surgery involves removing both skin and breast tissue to alleviate the excessive weight of the enlarged breasts. During this operation, the breast is both reduced and lifted to also achieve a more youthful appearance. The end-result is a much more proportionate breast in relation to the body. A variety of techniques can be employed, and the optimal plan will vary depending upon your individual situation. Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
Gravity, pregnancy, and changes in weight can all affect the breasts and cause them to sag. A breast lift can restore the breasts to a more youthful appearance using a variety of different techniques. Occasionally, a breast implant can be used in conjunction with a lift to provide additional volume to the youthful appearance.
Fat TransferFat transfer, also known as fat grafting or fat injection, has seen a steadily rising popularity. It essentially involves improving defects or deformities in contour with one’s own, natural tissue. During this process, fat is extracted from an area of the patient’s body, such as the abdomen, in a process similar to liposuction. However, unlike liposuction, which targets pockets of fat for removal, fat grafting additionally focuses upon replacing the fat to specific areas to enhance volume. The fat which has been extracted is gently processed through one of a number of different methods to yield purified fat, separating it from the extraneous fluids. This purified fat is subsequently injected into an area, such as the breast or face, to achieve an immediate improvement in contouring.

Male Breast Surgery (Gynecomastia)
Enlargement of breasts is not relegated to females alone. While boys can sometimes develop varying sizes of breasts during puberty, it is often self-limited, resolving on its own without further treatment. Men can develop enlargement of breasts (gynecomastia) which can be secondary to a variety of factors, including a number of medications. Treatment options include liposuction, direct excision of excess breast tissue, and/or removal of excess skin.
